Honor Society students make a positive impact in their community

The MCS National Honor Society is diving headfirst into the season of giving. Students have been giving back to the Morristown community through a series of charitable initiatives, showcasing the spirit of the holiday season.

“These efforts highlight the Morristown Central School National Honor Society’s commitment to making a positive impact in their community, demonstrating the power of student-led service projects in bringing about meaningful change,” stated Lynn Tayler, MCS High School Special Education teacher.

Honor society members created hand-sewn blankets to be donated to the Angel Network Project, an organization that provides essential support to individuals and families in need. The National Honor Society also hosted a successful food drive, collecting non-perishable food items to support local families in need during the holiday season, and organized an American Red Cross Blood Drive, encouraging both students and community members to donate blood to help save lives.
