Welcome to the Morristown Central School District!

I would like to thank the Morristown Central School community for welcoming me to your district.  I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with members of the Board of Education along with the support staff this summer since my appointment as Interim Superintendent at the end of July.  I am looking forward to the start of the new school year and meeting the Morristown faculty/staff, students, parents and community members as I fulfill my duties as temporary Superintendent while the district searches for a replacement for Mr. McQueer.

In many ways, Morristown is similar to the Heuvelton CSD where I served as Superintendent from 2006-2017.  Prior to my role as Superintendent at Heuvelton, I was the district’s Elementary Principal.  My experience as an educator also includes seventeen years as a classroom teacher at Potsdam Central School.

I grew up in Northern NY and have lived in Canton with my husband, Richard for the past forty-three years.  Together we raised three sons—Craig, Adam and Aaron, who have blessed us with three wonderful daughter-in-laws and eight amazing grandchildren.  For the past two years I have enjoyed my retirement, but I am thrilled to have this opportunity to serve the Morristown CSD community until the Superintendent search process is complete.  I’ve been missing the daily interaction with students and conversations with fellow educators, so I am very much looking forward to Opening Day!

See you all soon!

If you need more information check out our website (greenrockets.org) or our Facebook page. We look forward to seeing all of our students on Tuesday, September 4th.
