Hello everyone. I hope everyone had a great summer.  The summer flew by fast. The school building and grounds have been a mess all summer but they are looking great now. The custodial staff has done a great job getting both ready for the start of the new school year. They have worked around the construction project and contractors all summer. They were unable to do their regular summer maintenance but they still did a great job. I am thankful for all our staff does.

During the construction project the roofs for the kindergarten and 57 wings were replaced. The gym floor was sanded down and relined with some changes. The heating system was updated and several inside doors were replaced. Some of the walls have been repainted. Windows had new hardware renovations and some were treated to reduce the heat from the sunshine. The nurse's office and main office were renovated. A few of the outside doors will be replaced before the middle of October.

The soccer season has started. All four teams have good numbers.  We have two new coaches this year: Chris Showers is coaching the varsity girls’ team and Megan Kanaly is coaching the modified boys’ team.  Two coaches are returning: Vanessa Ross is coaching the varsity boys and Andrew Rupert is the girls’ modified coach. Good Luck to all the teams.  Please come out and cheer our teams on.

If you need more information check out our website (greenrockets.org) or our Facebook page. We look forward to seeing all of our students on Tuesday, September 4th.
